Tercer seminario: "Nuevas lecturas en torno al Quijote"


Con el patrocinio del diario "La Nación" , la Dirección de Bibliotecas Archivos y Museos:Dibam, del diario "El Mercurio" (Sección "Artes y letras"), del Centro Cultural de España y de la Editorial se organizará este año el TERCER SEMINARIO "NUEVAS LECTURAS EN TORNO AL QUIJOTE", organizado por los alumnos de la Carrera de Licenciatura en Lengua y Literatura Hispánica y por el Área de Literatura Española del Departamento de Literatura de la Universidad de Chile.


El Seminario "Nuevas Lecturas en torno al Quijote", nace el año 2006, por iniciativa de un grupo de alumnos de Licenciatura en Lengua y Literatura Hispánica de la Universidad de Chile, con el fin de reunir a docentes y alumnos para reflexionar en torno a "El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha". Tras el éxito logrado, se decide realizar nuevamente el año 2007, pero esta vez difundiéndose a otras Universidades. La cantidad de expositores se amplió, contando con la participación de Eduardo Godoy, Thomas Harris, Miguel Donoso, entre otros. El año 2008, continúa la actividad, pero esta vez enfocándose interdisciplinariamente en lecturas que puedan enriquecer la visión puramente literaria del texto. La idea es reunir a literatos, lingüistas, filósofos, artistas, etc. para lograr perspectivas más integrales y generar nuevas discusiones en torno a una obra que no pierde su capacidad de reinvención después de más de 400 años.

Luise von Flotow dicta conferencia en la Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades

El dia jueves 9 de octubre, a las 11:30 horas en la "Sala de Conferencias" de la Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades (Cuarto Piso), dictará una conferencia sobre "GÉNERO Y TRADUCCIÓN", en castellano, la destacada académica y Directora de la Escuela de Traduccion de la Universidad de Ottawa, Luise von Flotow.

La profesora Von Flotow obtuvo en 1974 su Bachellor of Arts en Alemán y Francés por la University of London, Inglaterra. En 1975, su Postgraduate Certificate of Education en la University of London, Inglaterra. En 1985 su grado de Magíster en Francés por la University of Windsor y en 1991, su grado de Doctora en Francés en la University of Michigan, Estados Unidos.
